Venezuelan family to recover after fire
On Monday, May 31, 2021, Memorial Day, the apartment we rented at The Portico in Duluth caught fire. As the pictures show, the flames consumed all of our belongings. Although more than 14 apartments were affected in the complex, 2 apartments were the worst, one of the neighborhoods where the fire started and ours (here you can see our home https://instagram.com/p/CPmUwFDlPNt/ )
We only had 1 month living there and in minutes we lost all our belongings. The insurance we had, by the recommendation of the complex itself, now they say that it does not cover any of our personal items and the treatment we received from the complex is nothing but human. You never think that something like this will happen to you. We have a minor in our family.

El pasado lunes 31 de mayo de 2021, Memorial Day, el apartamento que rentábamos en The Pórtico en Duluth se incendió. Como lo muestran las imágenes las llamas consumieron todas nuestras pertenecias (aquí pueden ver como quedó nuestra casa https://instagram.com/p/CPmUwFDlPNt/ ). Aunque más de 14 apartamentos fueron afectados en el conjunto, 2 apartamentos resultaron lo más perjudicados, el de los vecinos donde inició el incendio y el nuestro.
Solo teníamos 1 mes viviendo ahí y en minutos perdimos todas nuestras pertenencias y quedamos en la calle. El seguro que teníamos, por recomendación del propio complex, ahora dice que no nos cubre nada personal. El trato del cómplex ha sido inhumano. Uno jamás piensa que algo así le sucederá.
