Familia Meza Rodriguez

We are raising money for our grieving Meza family, who lost Roberto Meza, their father, and husband to Post Covid-19 complications. Roberto Meza fought a courageous battle against this pandemic and passed away this morning, May 18, 2020 at 6:30am. He was in his home surrounded by his wife, and 4 children. He had been hospitalized for 2 weeks, and cleared of the virus, however, his lungs lost all strength and they gave away this morning. We are all grieving with them and it is extra hard that we can’t be there in person for the Meza family due to this pandemic, so we want to be there for them in ways that we can, with moral support and by helping them financially. Roberto loved to sing at church, and truly enjoyed spending time and having coffee with members of his congregation. In the days leading up to his passing, when told that his church and family were praying for him, tears would roll down his eyes. Many of his church brothers and sisters would sing with him through video chats as well. It warms our hearts to know that he passed, knowing he was in all of our prayers and doing what he loved best, singing praise and worship songs. Roberto’s wife, Elisa Meza, is left to care for her 4 children, Rene, who has now been handed the torch to be the man of the house, Noemi, who has always been such a great help to her mom, and Roberto Jr, her special needs son, and Ruth, her youngest little girl who always has a positive attitude and emits joy everywhere she goes. She is a hard working, humble, and sacrificial woman that would be there for you in a heartbeat, and is willing to share the little that she has with anyone in need, no questions asked. Since this pandemic, she has worked arduously with fellow neighbors and friends to sew masks and donate them to local schools, stores, neighbors, etc. “Individually, we are one drop. Estamos recaudando fondos para nuestra afligida familia Meza, que perdió a Roberto Meza, un padre y esposo, a causa de Covid-19. Roberto Meza perdió una valiente batalla contra esta pandemia y falleció esta mañana, 18 de mayo de 2020 a las 6:30 a.m. Falleció en su casa rodeado de su esposa y 4 hijos. Había estado hospitalizado durante 2 semanas y aunque lo habían declarado sano del virus y sus pulmones perdieron toda su fuerza y ​dejaron de funcionar por completo esta mañana. Todos estamos afligidos con ellos y es muy difícil que no podamos estar allí en persona para la familia Meza debido a esta pandemia, pero queremos estar allí para ellos de la manera que podamos, con apoyo moral y ayudándoles financialmente. A Roberto le encantaba cantar en la iglesia y realmente disfrutaba pasar tiempo y tomar un café con los miembros de su congregación. En los días previos a su fallecimiento, cuando le dijeron que su iglesia y su familia estaban orando por él, las lágrimas rodaron por sus ojos. Muchos de sus hermanos y hermanas de la iglesia también cantaban con él a través de chats de video. Nos alegra el corazón al saber que falleció, sabiendo que estaba en todas nuestras oraciones y haciendo lo que más amaba, cantando canciones de alabanza y adoración. La esposa de Roberto, Elisa Meza, le sobrevive, junto con sus 4 hijos, René, a quien ahora se le entregó la antorcha para ser el hombre de la casa, Noemí, quien siempre ha sido de gran ayuda para su madre, Roberto Jr, su hijo con necesidades especiales, y Ruth, su niña más pequeña que siempre tiene una actitud positiva y emite alegría donde quiera que vaya. Elisa es una mujer trabajadora, humilde y sacrificada, ella estaría allí para alguien en un instante, y está dispuesta a compartir lo poco que tiene con cualquier persona que lo necesite, sin hacer preguntas. Desde esta pandemia, ella ha trabajado arduamente con sus vecinas y amigas para coser máscaras y donarlas a escuelas locales, tiendas, vecinos, etc. “Individualmente, somos una gota.
