Families Affected by NS Shooting

I am raising money for the families of people who lost their lives in a senseless killing spree that happened in Nova Scotia, no amount of money will ever be enough to settle the pain and suffering caused by this horrendous, violent act but during times like this it is important for us to come together as a community and support one another. It is especially difficult for people financially right now with the global pandemic and I want to try and ease the burden of funeral costs for the families. I will be personally contacting each and every next of kin to let them know this page has been set up. 100% of Donations will go to families who want/need help during this time and who have been affected; I have gotten ahold of Dale McLeod who has accepted and appreciates the support. His son Sean McLeod lost his life in the shooting and his wife is not well. I have also gotten a hold of Bradley Monks; brother of Joy and Peter Bond. He is currently out of province and unable to travel, he has given me the contact information for their oldest son Harry who I have also contacted. They appreciate the community support and financial donations. I have tried contacting next of kin for everyone I could find but so far Dale and Bradley are the only ones I have gotten in touch with directly. Heidi Stevenson, Emily Tuck, Aaron (Friar) Tuck, Jolene Oliver, Gina, Kristen Newton, Jaimie&Greg Blair and Joey Webber all have gofundme pages started by next of kin. The amount of support so far has been amazing. 50% of Donations as of tonight will be going towards Sean McLeods father and 50% of Donations will go towards Joy and Peter Bonds son until I am able to get a hold of next of kin for the other families. I plan on keeping this page up for a while to give the families time to mourn. If any of the families need help with funeral costs I have messaged them so I will be able to withdraw for individual families earlier if needed.
