Family Aguirre House Fire
Donation protected
On July 7, 2023, our family of 4 and pets lost our home of 9 years and belongings after a devastating fire. My father, 2 siblings and I lived here. No one was in the house when the fire occurred only pets. All pets were accounted for except 2. MAX our dog sadly did not make it and KIWI our Cat is still missing.
We are asking the community, family and friends to help us rebuild and support us. Thank you to all the neighbors, family, friends and FIRE department for helping us so much already. Please keep our family in your prayers.
I received a call from my neighbor that our house was on fire around 1 pm. I was only 5 mins away from home, I was the first one there. I rushed towards the house and was detained two houses down by 4 to 5 officers. I was detained because I was a "threat" to the police, and they believed that I would interfere with the investigation of the fire. I was detained for almost 30-40 mins till the officer un-cuffed me a block down and told me; I wasn't allowed anywhere near my house and threatened to arrest me if I did. I was left with my right wrist swollen, cuts and bruised my left arm. I was just trying to get to my pets. I was in shock and frightened. I had no idea what was going on.
I still had no idea what was happening. I didn't know if our pets made it out.
Once the fire was out, someone from the Perris FIRE Dept. helped me calm down and offered me water and questioned soon after. My father and sister arrived. The Fire Dept was still searching the house for our pets. Everyone was questioned and the police took our information.
Perris Animal Control Took all our pets and Max’s remains. We have contacted Animal Control regarding our pets but haven't received any information regarding Max’s remains. We only wish to have his ashes to be placed in a memorial Urn for Max. To have something of remembrance. He brought beautiful and loving memories to our family.
They impounded the rest of our pets; They are safe and in need of rescue. As we are unable to provide any shelter and needs for them at this time. We only pray that they find a new loving home.
What caused the fire is still under investigation.
All neighbors have been spoken to regarding any damages that were caused by the fire.
We thank God that no one was injured because of the fire. All the damages left the house uninhabitable. We are now without a home. Our belongings were damaged because of this ravaging fire; furniture, clothing, etc. Smoked and water scattered throughout the house. Everything we have worked so hard for is gone. My siblings and I grew up here in this beautiful home. My father raised us here. All that remains are beautiful memories we carry in our hearts. This fire has taken our home, but we are strong, and we have to keep moving forward. It will only get harder from here on out. We have to be strong. We are hoping to raise a bit of money to help us rebuild what has been lost. Everything that is raised will be used to help us rebuild, living expenses, all our personal needs, food, clothes, shoes, etc.
Thank you in advance for your contribution. Every penny makes a difference. Also, for all the love and support. Please accept my dearest gratitude. Godspeed.
