Family & Belonging: Nick Medina

It has been many years since many of us had to list all the Melting Pot principles, but I can bet we all remember one tenant in particular; Family and Belonging. 

Our jobs at the Melting Pot were never easy, but we got by with a little help from our friends.'

Nick was the friend who helped. He ran your drinks and 'romulated' for your table.  If you were in the "weeds," he happily greeted your guests then upsold them with a phenomenal wine flight. Nick raised money for children at St Jude, and he invited you to grab a bite to eat after work. He did all of your rolls for the evening, broke down your line (and perhaps he pranked you with the infamous goose, and YOU ended up doing all of his rolls).  He embodied 'family and belonging". 

Our young and formidable years were spent together -in solidarity- at work or Phantom Canyon, on the slopes, and every where in between.  We figured out how to be adults together, to grow and love. And for Nick, our Melting Pot family was his family away from Iowa.

Well, family sticks together - through thick and thin- and now it's time to show Nick's immediate family what it means to be part of our  Melting Pot 'family and belonging' as they travel here.

Please consider chipping in 500, 100, 50, or even 5 dollars to help pay their travel to Colorado, memorial, and burial expenses.

As a note,  services are presumed to be closed to all but immediate family. 

Our 'Melting Pot' family is organizing our own memorial and will schedule for a later date.  

All money raised will be handed to Casey Bramble and used at the discrepancy of Nick's family.
