Family Cat with FIP, need help with vets bills.

Hi my name is Lex and out family cat (mostly my mothers), Aslan, has been diagnosed with FIP. Aslan's insurance will cover £2000 but the medicine alone will be 2800 and the vet believes he will need a number of days of inpatient care with fluids and feeding tube etc. Their rough estimate is it will take the insurance contribution plus 5000 or maybe more. We are trying to pull together as a family on this but the only one who has any money available is my Mother which will come out of her pension pot.

Anything you can offer to help my mother dipping into her pension pot would be hugely beneficial to both Aslan and my mother.

Update - Sadly Aslan passed on Monday 13th January.
