Family Funday honoring the Tristyn Bailey Foundation

We chose this foundation because as mothers this tragedy is unfathomable, much less literally to happen in our backyard. We both lived in the neighborhood where she was murdered, this family's heartbreak struck way too close to home. So often we all take our safety for granted, and the fact that the Foundation is educating our youth on the dangers of social media and self defense is something that resonates powerfully with both of us.

The foundation succeeded in getting senate Bill 404 passed that helps protect the release of the crime scene photos of minors who have been murdered in Florida.
