How it all Started.

Scott Womble, PGA Life Member and Clemson University Golf Instructor.

Clemson Life is a college program that allows kids with intellectual disabilities to have a real college experience while creating new skill sets for them to become productive and independent.

While teaching the Clemson University Leisure Skill Golf Class, I have the opportunity to have some of the Clemson Life students participate in my classes. These kids have amazing attitudes and an eagerness to learn a new skill set to enjoy a new outdoor recreational sport. I have been in the golf business for more than 40 years and these kids changed my whole approach to golf instruction.

FGL's main goal is to create a world-class positive learning environment for the whole family to enjoy. It's not about the score. It's about having fun with the family outdoors.
