Family Hardship

Our Grand Daughter, Tabitha, and her family woke up one morning to asbestos flakes all over the apartment, and this was a little scary! As they inspected her living area, she found more and more fragments. She found the flakes everywhere and had to move out of her apartment and move in with her family. Last night, we threw out all her family’s belongings due to fiberglass dust from their mattress. All clothing, furniture, kitchen items, food, toys….everything. We are going to work on filing a legal claim, Aria has also recently developed asthma, and their renter’s insurance denied any assistance.

The current bid is $4500 to flake proof the apartment, and then there are the costs to replace all lost items. We have investigated State Aid, and there does not seem to be any for this situation. Without insurance help, State Aid help, or Grants, they are left on their own to replace everything. So, we have opened this Go Fund account to ask for help from our immediate family and any Facebook friends who can help. Thank you so much for your attention and participation.
