Family home and property devastated by flooding

This is the current state of my good friend Doug's family home and land, where recent sustained rains have caused flooding to devestate his property, and destroy most of the personal property.

In fact, the Arkansas river has essentially changed its path, and is flowing through his land and filling the home and garage there.

Because the long standing family land exists inside a flood plane, he has no insurance, and is unsure how he will be able to recover from this great loss. He also has been unable to work since the flooding began, because he can't safely leave the property, and is staying in the one dry structure remaining with his dog.

Any help would be very much greatly appreciated, and used to help salvage any items not damaged, and clean up and rebuild from the damage.
