Family home destroyed by flood water

Hi, my name is Cassandra and I'm trying to raise funds for my parents near Dubbo NSW. On the 8th October, they had a sudden down fall of rain which ended up in heartbreak of a self made river going through their property/driveway and going through their house, sheds, granny flat and ruining alot.My parents have lived here for the last 25 years and this has NEVER happened or looked like happening. As this has never happened, we were unprepared! And didn’t except this to happen. We tried our best to save what we could. family and friends helped getting sandbags and taking them down the driveway to try save the house.

mum and dad are fine which is the main thing but everything water logged.

they currently are needing to get gravel for there driveway as it has washed away and can not use it and hopefully start preparing for the next storms.
