Family home destroyed by vandalism

My daughter and her husband have been devastated by an unimaginable act of vandalism. They rented their townhome to two tenants who, after just a week, deliberately destroyed the property.

The tenants unscrewed the toilet pipes, turned the water on, and left, flooding the entire home and causing extensive damage—not only to my daughter’s home but also to the neighboring unit. By the time they arrived, ceilings were caving in, walls were soaked through, and water was covering the parking lot. The home is now uninhabitable.

A police report has been filed, and legal action is underway, but in the meantime, they are left with hundreds of thousands in damage and a heartbreaking loss. The intentional damage is unfortunately not covered by insurance.
