A Family in Crisis Welford Jan 2021

We are an inner city school in Birmingham.  We have been deeply moved by the plight of one of our families. Three young children in our area lost their mother to bowel cancer just before Christmas. The children nursed their mother, at home, through her final days. The children are now alone in the world and under threat of eviction from their family home. On behalf of the children, we are appealing for help to pay for their mother's funeral as the children have no way of funding this. School has managed to negotiate the cheapest possible funeral, which will be carried out with dignity and in accordance with the children's wishes. Please help these three brave children by donating anything you can in these difficult times.
