Family in need Hurricane Ida floods home!

Our home and small business have received immeasurable damage and loss due to Hurricane Ida. We lost all our belongings (from furniture, to ovens, clothing, shoes, computers to washer & dryer, heaters, all personal documents & etc the list goes on ). The kitchen, the bedrooms, and the bathrooms are completely damaged and nothing is salvageable. The walls are caving in and falling apart. We have to throw away all of our food and all our belongings as they have been submerged in dirty water. Everything we invested into our small business was gone in a matter of seconds. We are a family of eight and struggling to afford to cover the damages. We would really appreciate any assistance that we can get during this time.

Being the daughter, this was heartbreaking to watch. My parents hard work destroyed. And living in New York City and rebuilding isn't easy. The funds would be applied to rebuilding our home and our small business. To getting the siblings who lost valuable goods to build back up into comfort and replace our documents and home.
