Family Kilimanjaro Challenge for Make A Splash (UNICEF)
This December Pat, Becky, Jessica and Ben are taking on Mount Kilimanjaro.
In celebration of Pat’s milestone 60th birthday, a few members of the family are embarking on a 6 day trek in hopes to reach the summit in time to welcome the first sunrise of 2025, on the rooftop of Africa.
Kilimanjaro is not only Africa's tallest peak, but also the world's tallest free standing mountain. The summit, named Uhuru Point, is 5,895 meters above sea level. But this climb is more than just a personal journey. We’re committed to giving back.
We have chosen to support Make a Splash in partnership with UNICEF, a global initiative supported by Becky’s workplace, LIXIL.
Make a Splash! is LIXIL and UNICEF’s global shared-value partnership in water, sanitation, and hygiene. It has already improved the lives of 12.7 million people in Africa and Asia. Together with SATO, part of LIXIL, they are pioneering new ways to tackle the global challenges in sanitation and hygiene by making products available, so that communities can become healthier and more prosperous.
Any donations would be highly appreciated.
Thank You
