On June 6th at approximately 7:00 PM an F-1 Tornado ripped through the area of Orlando known as Conway. In its wake, it hit some apartments tearing off their roofs, breaking out windows, strewing belongings everywhere.
Pamela Cordero and her two children, Alana age 13, and Malakai age 6, were in their apartment and gratefully spared. Their apartment lost its roof and also their windows were broken and much of their belongings lost as well.
Pamela is a single mother and works hard to earn money to provide for her and her children and be available to them for their activities. This means she is not able to hold down a 9-5 job. She depends on others providing her with cleaning and other odd jobs.
Recently the Coronavirus took away many of her jobs as she cleans for several elderly people and they were not able to have their homes cleaned. She is a hard worker, trustworthy, and loyal. She is cheerful and positive and a good mother.
She and her children are involved in martial arts and her daughter is a champion. This is a wonderful hobby for them and gives them great direction. Sometimes being a champion athlete means having to go out of state or even the country. Pamela will work extra jobs to get the money to pay for those trips. She supports her daughter and her son unlike most people do, sacrificing for their sake.
Now, fate has hit. Alana has lost much of her training gear. Their toys, bikes, and personal things are lost. It will take a lot for Pamela and the children to get back on their feet.
I know Pamela will do her best but she needs our help to provide a new place for them to live and to replace their losses.
I'm asking you if you could please help her? Every little bit can add up to be of great help for them. - Just to add to the calamity, Pamela's car is not on the fritz.
