Family Loses Mother to Drunk Driver

On January 20th 2024, Elizabeth McAloon, "Liz", was driving home from church with her 7 year old daughter after helping set up for church services the next day, when she was struck and killed by a drunk driver. The driver was driving the wrong way when Liz and her daughter were hit suddenly, Liz arrived to the hospital and passed immediately. Her 7 year old daughter, Rima, was injured but survived. Leaving Rima and Liz's son, Josiah (9) (who was at home with his dad at the time of the crash) without a mother, and Liz's husband Nick without his wife.
Liz's daughter, Rima has multiple injuries and is in need of medical attention. Please consider donating to hospital bills, trauma counseling and in support of this family.

Liz was loved by all who knew her. She loved Jesus. She volunteered long hours hosting Bible Studies for highschool girls and cared for babies and children during services. She was a beloved friend, mother, sister, daughter, niece, wife and grandchild.

Nick and Liz met as highschool sweethearts and Nick says, "Liz is an amazing wife, a selfless, and nurturing mom who the kids and I could always count on. She was the backbone to our family."
