Family needs help-medical bills for 3 & 9 yr old

Hello my name is Jordan. My 3 year old nephew Reid started brusing all over his body in December of 2021. The family thought this was very strange and took him to his primary care physician for a check up and to run some blood work.

A couple of days later they received a phone call from the Dr telling them to take him immediately to Nemours Childrens Hospital where they will be expecting him. As you could imagine, his parents were scared thinking the worse, and with no details took him stright away as told. After a few days of extensive tests and procedures they diagnosed him with aplastic anemia. His plalets were at 0, if much more time would have passed without medical treatment he could've suffered a brain bleed and died.

Thankfully he is still with us today but has a long road ahead of him. He has to get his plalets tested every week and gets blood transfusions as needed. He's so young and this is so hard on his little body. The only resolve is to get a bone marrow transplant.

He will be undergoing chemo in mid April to prepare for his bone marrow transplant. They've tested his 2 other siblings to see if they were a match, and luckily his oldest brother, Mason, was. He's so brave and is willing to undergo the procedure to save his brother.

Reid will need to have a 6 week hospital stay and be on anti-rejection medication for 1 year.
