Family of 3 displaced by flooding

On May 23rd, a severe thunderstorm dropped 1.27 inches of rainfall in our area. Our master bedroom, located in the basement, flooded. My husband and I had to evacuate with our 8 month old daughter.

We were lucky that we were able to save most of our belongings, but we are facing a hard road to pay for our hotel, food, cleaning, and replacement of our lost belongings.

Although we have renter's insurance, they do not cover flooding from rain and our property's management company will not help with any costs faced by their tenants due to the flooding. We greatly appreciate any and all help during this difficult time.
