Family of 3 in need of emergency funds

Hi my name is Breanna, a 25 year old full time Arizona mom with a love for animals and baking. This year has been extremely difficult for myself and my family. In November 2021, my boyfriend of almost 7 years and the father of my son suffered from a severe head injury while working. At the time of the injury, he lost consciousness and threw up which are clear signs of a concussion. Instead of following protocol (apparently they didn’t even have training to handle this type of situation) they let him leave and drive himself home. I was not made aware of the situation until he came home, concussed, bruised, and exhausted. At the time he did not have insurance so he was afraid to go the ER and end up with a huge bill that we couldn’t afford to pay. They let him return to work the next day despite the fact that he clearly had a concussion. Since the injury he has been experiencing on a daily basis, headaches, confusion, difficulty with his speech, weight loss, and insomnia. Despite his symptoms he has worked as much as he can (for a different company) and did eventually make it to the ER where he was referred to a Neurologist. In March 2022 I suffered from complications after a medical procedure and had to be taken to the hospital, followed by spending 3 weeks in bed recovering. During this time neither of us were able to work and have been lucky enough that our landlord gave us some leniency considering our situation. We are trying our very best to provide a life for our son that neither of us were given and have unfortunately been hindered by these recent events. Right now we are behind on our bills and have a $1,300 hospital bill to pay. Luckily we’ve been able to scrape by thanks to help from some family. I’m currently waiting to hear back from a full time job (hopefully by next week) that will push us in the right direction. In the meantime we could really use the extra help
