FAMILY OF 3 DISPLACED AND LOST EVERYTHING IN FIRE!

Some of you may have heard about the horrible fire that ravaged a building on Presland street in Ottawa's east end last night, February 21st, leaving all of its residents without a home. What you may not realize is that my mother lived in that building. She lived in an apartment on the 3rd floor with my niece and her 5 year old autistic son.

If you've seen the photos or videos you know that they've lost everything and are now faced with the daunting task of starting over; relocating, replacing and trying to deal with the trauma of the fire. Thankfully, all 3 got out safely and they have a good family support system.
