Family of 5 in Werribee need your help

Hello, my name is Klaudia and I am reaching out to raise funds for my friend Almaz, whose family home was severely damaged in a house fire on Thursday, May 16th.

During the fire, their daughter was at home with her younger brother and bravely alerted the neighbours when smoke filled the house. Thankfully, due to the quick response of their neighbors and emergency services, the two children were able to escape unharmed.

The house is now uninhabitable and in need of extensive repairs. Unfortunately the family's insurance had lapsed, leaving them without coverage. As a result the family with 3 young children are displaced.

To add to already difficult situation, while staying at a hotel for the night, their home was broken into and all of their personal belongings were stolen. Their children's clothes and shoes, her husband's tools and clothes and Almaz's kitchen appliances and clothing were all taken. The house was left in a total mess, with belongings scattered on the floor after the thieves ransacked the property. Sadly, they were targeted again the following night when intruders this time broke through the back door.

The family is facing an incredibly challenging time and we are appealing to the local community for support. We hope to raise funds to assist with their living expenses while they are in temporary accommodation, replacing their stolen belongings and covering the necessary repairs. Any donation, no matter how small, would be immensely appreciated.
