family of 6 in need of assistance after house fire
Donation protected
Our hearts are broken for the Sawyer family, who tragically lost their home in a fire today, 12/14/2023. The fire, believed to have originated from a malfunctioning Keurig coffee maker, substantially damaged their home in minutes.
This is unimaginable, as everyone should be preparing for the holiday. The family of six – Mom, Dad, and their four sons, aged 10, 14, 18, and 20– are now displaced, staying in a local hotel with only the bare necessities.
Their three cats were separated in the chaos. While firefighters thankfully rescued one, two remain missing. We're hoping that they're simply scared and will be found.
We're reaching out to the community in hopes of raising funds to help the Sawyer family get back on their feet. Every bit counts, whether a small donation to help them replace essential items or a kind word of encouragement.
Here's how your contributions will make a difference:
Immediate needs: Cover the cost of their hotel stay and basic necessities like clothing, toiletries, and meals.
Clothing and personal items: Help them replace the clothes, shoes, and personal belongings they lost in the fire.
No family should have to face this kind of hardship, especially during the holiday season. With your help, we can show the Sawyer family that they're not alone in this. Please consider donating or just sharing this. Every act of kindness, big or small, will bring them one step closer to rebuilding their lives.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
