Family of 6 lose home in a Fire in Las Vegas

On Monday, Sept 2nd, shortly after returning home from work, Mayra and her family were startled by a pounding at their door.  They opened the door to see a neighbor screaming that their house was on FIRE!!  The entire roof was quickly engulfed with flames... and eventually collapsed in on the house.  Everything was destroyed by the fire, or the water it took to put it out.  Fox 5 news was there and covered the devastating event.  Mayra is a wife and mother of 4 (ranging from 3 yrs to 20 yrs old).  Luckily, everyone got out of the house alive (even her 2 dogs... and even her cat was found in one of the bedroom closets the next day). Mayra is one of my co-workers at the Welcome To Las Vegas store.  She is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet.  She is always surprising her teammates with snacks or treats.  She loves and is always there for her family and children (even when times are very tight).  She loves to make people laugh, and goes out of her way to celebrate special moments in life with her friends and family. Unfortunately, the family had no insurance... and will not be able to replace everything they lost.  Her co-workers and team at her company (MRG) have been great and very supportive so far... but it will be a very long road to get her family and children even the basics that we all take for granted in life. If you can help in even the smallest way... we will be able to help Mayra and her family start to rebuild a life... and put this terrifying memory in their past.  Please know how very much it would be appreciated by Mayra, her family  and all of her friends and loved ones that are always here to support her... but cannot do it alone.
