Friends please show some love to a family that always gives more than they receive.
A wonderful family needs your help!! COVID has inflicted great uncertainties to the physical and financial stability to the Pfarr’s. This is an urgent request, as of today, November, 9, 2020, parents to a family of 7 have COVID, the father, Duane, 53, is in the hospital, sedated on a ventilator. The mother, Mary Jo, is recovering at home yet she is unable to work as she is home schooling their 5 children Hunter, 16, Andrea, 14, Hazel, 14, Hailey, 13, Amaya 10.
Duane and Mary Jo have been long-time foster parents. Both are hard working. Duane grew up on a family farm in Southern Minnesota and Mary Jo grew up in Minneapolis Northside, graduated from Patrick Henry, and worked for a long time at Wells Fargo. She also worked for a school lunch program but has had to stop all work due to COVID.
This large loving family lives near Columbia Heights and are members of St. Bridget’s Church of Minneapolis. Mary Jo has always been kind and supportive to her friends, family and community. When we asked her how we could help, her first thought was for the ICU nurses working to save Duane’s life.
If you want to help this compassionate and loving family in their time of need, please give what you can to help them financially. The winter is coming and they are faced with heating bills and the cost of providing food and shelter during this time. Your help and prayers will be going a long way to keep them safe and bring healing as Duane fights for his life against COVID.
Thank you!
