In Memory of Jaelen Chaney and baby Solé

Donation protected
**Introduction:**

Hello, I am Juanita, and I am reaching out for your support as expenses are mounting following the sudden and tragic passing of my beloved son, Jaelen Chaney, 29, and my precious granddaughter, Solé, just 7months old. Their lives were heartbreakingly cut short on April 8th, 2024, in Woodland Hills, California, due to the mental health issues of Jaelen's partner and Solé’s mother who took their life and her own.

 **Our Story:**

This devastating loss has left our family in deep mourning. I had to travel to California to confirm their remains, handle their final affairs, and gather personal items. Jaelen and Solé were transported to Michigan, where they were laid to rest at a National Cemetery on May 20th, which would have been Jaelen’s 30th birthday. I chose this day to honor the life of my first-born son, returning him to God on the same day he blessed our lives. Solé was lovingly laid to rest in her father's arms. Jaelen served our country with pride, exemplified honor, courage and dedication in the US Air Force and had a passion for travel, weather, music, science, reading, games, swimming, shopping, talking photos and Star Wars. Even though Jaelen was the second oldest out of three brothers, he played the role of a big brother. His infectious smile, laughter, silliness and generous spirit touched many lives from high school, church youth group, college, his fellow airmen in Italy and every where he went. We want Jaelen to be remembered for his vibrant personality, volunteering, great with kids, he had a knack for finding beauty in the simplest of things and a talent for bringing people together, also his unwavering love for his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of selflessness and sacrifice that will forever be remembered; not the tragedy that took him and his daughter Solé from us. Though her time on earth was brief, I will truly miss seeing my granddaughter Solé, my precious little angel grow up. They may be gone from our sights, but their love will continue to guide us, their memories will continue to inspire us, and their spirits will forever remain in our hearts.

 **Purpose:**

We seek comfort in the cherished memories of Jaelen and Baby Solé, knowing they are forever loved and remembered. Your donations will help cover the numerous expenses associated with this tragic loss, including transport costs, travel expenses, burial and memorial costs, and closing Jaelen and Solé’s financial accounts.

 **Call to Action:**

Please consider donating to support our family during this incredibly difficult time. Your generosity will help ease the financial burden and allow us to focus on healing and preserving the beautiful memories of Jaelen and Solé.  Additionally, we hope to raise awareness about the importance of mental health support to prevent such tragedies in the future.

**Gratitude:**

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support.  May God bless you.
