Family of Breanna Killian

Obituary Breanna "Breezy" Killian was born in May 1997 to Tony and Melony Killian. She had a passion for life, family, animals, travel and friends. She lived for her dog Remi and found love with her boyfriend Ethan. She was so easy to love. Breanna was a student at the College of Veterinary and Medicine at the University of Missouri in Columbia. On Friday night, September 10, 2021 she was with her vet club for school. After a tragic fall from a private (residential) zip line, she was airlifted to the University Hospital in Columbia Missouri. Breanna was unconscious and had significant brain trauma including a great deal of swelling. Tony and Melony received the news, picked up Breanna's sister Emily, and started the agonizing 9 hour drive to be with her. Intubation was unsuccessful due to swelling and she was taken into surgery for a tracheotomy, but there was too much internal bleeding. Too much damage had occurred and doctors called her mom to let her know she wouldn't survive. They still had approximately 3 hours left in their drive to get to her. This morning, Saturday, September 11, 2021, she passed away with her parents, her sister Emily, her boyfriend Ethan, and his mom, by her side. We want to help the family by lessening the financial burden of the sudden onset of medical costs, moving expenses of getting her belongings back home to Wisconsin and of course funeral services.
