Deceased Coronavirus Medical Worker Devin Francis
Donation protected
Devin Dale Francis succumbed to complications of the Coronavirus. Devin, fondly known as “Gummy Bear” to his wrestling teammates, was a frontline worker, who held down two “essential” positions to secure the wellbeing of his daughter, fiancée, and other family members. He was a radiology technician Jackson Memorial Hospital’s emergency department, and worked at American Airlines.
Devin had a sharp mind, a ready smile, and a big heart that he shared with all who knew him. His Miami Central Senior High School wrestling and football teammates appreciated his work ethic, and loved that he was always there for them. The wider Miami Central family knew Devin for his wisdom, sense of humor, and for being a faithful friend on whom we could always count.
As Devin’s family and friends prepare to say their final goodbyes during an April 15 viewing and an April 16 burial, we encourage you to support his burial by making a donation today. The funds will help defray burial costs, and any remaining funds will be managed by the family, with Devin’s sister Junette Francis being in charge of final expenses.
