Family of Gary Walker

Family and friends are raising money on behalf of Danielle and Demi Walker, wife and daughter of fallen Officer Gary Walker.

Gary lost his battle to COVID-19 on 4/24/20  at Morristown Medical Center after fighting this terrible virus for over 30 days.  Gary was only 53 years old.

Gary was a Patrolman for the Bloomingdale Police Department  in Bloomingdale, NJ for over 20 years.  He was also the Assistant Fire Chief for his hometown of Oakland, NJ where he served as a volunteer firefighter for over 33 years.  He was the true definition of a civil servant.

Gary gave so much of himself to his community, family and friends.  He was a loving and devoted husband and father, always encouraging Danielle and Demi to follow their dreams.  He lived his life for his family.

Any amount you can donate to help support Danielle and Demi would be greatly appreciated.  Please keep the Walker family in your prayers.  

Update; This gofundme is to bridge the gap while the pension/insurance is under litigation. There has been no determination as to what pension benefits will be granted, therefore there is no finances coming in. Danielle is and was always a stay at home mom that worked doing odd jobs while Demi was in school. With the pandemic there has been none of that either. For now...this is their lifeline.
