Family of Lisa K

On September 4, we all suddenly, and unexpectedly lost one of the most beautiful souls you could have the pleasure of knowing, Lisa Klukiewski. Lisa is the most loving, caring, genuine, quirky and energetic person you could meet. She was welcoming and made you feel right at home, especially during the annual Mummers parade on 2nd St where she kept her door open for South Philly to come in, get warm, and have a hot meal. Lisa is a wife to Dennis , a mother to 5 wonderful children, Dennis, Pete, Kristen, Adam , and Dana, a grandmother to 9 beautiful grandchildren and one more on the way. If you know Lisa, her world revolved around her kids. Only working on weekends to be home with them all week for school/homework and to make her famous polish dinners. They were her pride and joy. Five years ago, Lisa and her husband lost their oldest daughter Kristen, also very sudden and unexpectedly, but the family’s strength continue to keep each other going.  Lisa became a Registered Nurse in 1994 working at Crozier and Northeastern and currently worked at Temple University Hospital over the past 10 years. Unfortunately, she was the sole provider for the family. Lisa has touched so many lives and cared for so many people in her lifetime , in her scrubs, or not.
