Family loses everything in house fire Christmas Night

Hi everyone,

My name is Darryl, and I’m writing to you as a member of the Goulburn Valley Vintage Tractor and Farm Machinery Club in Wunghnu, Victoria, Australia.

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support during an incredibly difficult time for one of our own.

On Christmas evening, a tragic fire completely destroyed the home of one of our club members, Vikki, Stuart, and their children.

Thankfully, they were visiting family and were not at home, but they have lost everything—only the clothes they were wearing remain.

This has been an unimaginable loss for them, and they are now left with nothing but the overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives.

The fire spread quickly and left only ashes and charred remains.

While we are relieved that no one was physically harmed, the emotional toll on this close-knit family is beyond words.

Vikki and Stuart have long been pillars of our community, generously giving their time to volunteer efforts. Now, it is our turn to support them.

We’ve set up this GoFundMe campaign to help with their immediate needs, such as temporary housing, clothing, furniture, and other essentials to help them get back on their feet.

Every contribution—no matter how small—will make an incredible difference.
