Family of Sung Won Lee

Hello, my name is Christie Lee.

My father, Sung Won Lee, passed away suddenly this October. It was a shock to my family, and we were unprepared for the aftermath of his death.

My younger sister Elizabeth is currently a high school senior and preparing to go to college. My father, an immigrant who did not have the opportunity to finish college, prioritized college education and aspired to send all of his kids to college- however, after paying for the funeral and cemetery expenses, we may not be able to support Elizabeth financially through college.

My mother and I are starting this fundraiser in the hopes of raising enough money for Elizabeth to go to college: she aims to major in food sciences and child development, and we hope to help her see her goals through. She is passionate about baking and makes baked goods for bake sales, teachers, fellow classmates, and friends. She loves seeing others enjoy her pastries and cookies, and is always searching for another recipe to learn.

We want Elizabeth and my father to realize their goals and dreams, so any donations will go toward helping fund her college education.
