Family of the fire in Almonte

Sadly on May 12th 2022 a devasting fire took place at 56 Main st W. Almonte, Ontario

We lost a great woman with such a beautiful heart, Laurie Ladouceur along with loving dogs Buddy Blue and Fifi. And pet snake Slinky.

Everything is lost including pieces of our hearts.

Laurie and her husband Blair have been family for so many. Always opening their door. Always helping people. Always taking care of the ones who have lost their way.

Sadly this all is a total nightmare. Our hearts are broken.

We are trying to raise the funds to help the family with funeral costs, and for clothing, housing and such through this horrible time. Everything was lost.

Our hearts go out to Laurie's children and family.

Nothing can ever replace Laurie. She was definitely one of a kind.

We would like to raise the funds to give Laurie a proper resting and to help her husband and family try to rebuild their life. Even though life will never be the same without Mama Laurie.

Any little bit will help.
