Vanessa Jensen, 19, Victim of Senseless Shooting

In the early hours on June 5, 2021, Vanessa Jensen, daughter of Rachel and Travis Jensen, was the victim of a random shooting.   In four days she would be turning 20 years old, instead she died after being shot in both arms and the chest as she was running to her car after hearing gunfire break out while in Minneapolis -- Such a tragic and senseless act of violence.  Vanessa Jensen was doing very well in her life, she was hard-working, independent, and making plans for the future.  This is an overwhelming loss for so many, Vanessa was a Daughter, Sister, Niece, Cousin, Friend ... to many.  Vanessa was loyal, smart, sweet, kind, generous and loving, with a mind and style all her own.   She loved being around her friends and family, and had such a great sense of humor.  Her parents, Travis and Rachel, will always be incredibly proud of their daughter,  for Vanessa was the light in their eyes, their beautiful baby, their young little girl with long hair, their energetic and unpredictable teenager, and their grown-up daughter with a promising future ... but she was and will always be their "baby" first.
