Family pay Monthly Bills - Funeral Expenses

Hello, I am Cithlalic and I created this GoFund Me on behalf of my Mom. This past Thursday, Aug. 10th, 2023 we lost my dad to cancer. Over the years he was the head of our household and after his first diagnosis, my mom was charged with economically fronting the monthly bills. After his first chemotherapy, we had a significant hope that we were on a path to remission. In December 2022, my Dad was on track to receive surgery to remove what we thought was the only tumor. In 2023, he went into chemotherapy again. At the beginning of his 3rd round of chemo and radiation, my dad's health declined significantly and now my mom could no longer leave his side. We were now facing the toughest economic crisis we ever had as a family but persisted as Doctors told us he'd get better. One week ago, my dad officially went into hospice care with a new diagnosis of terminal cancer. We lost him to that battle 4 days after being sent home. As we approach his funeral, my mom is facing funerary bills and utility bills that she is scrambling to pay because of how long they were out of work due to this illness. If you know my Father or my family you know they are people who never ask for help or sit around doing nothing. I make this GoFundMe hoping my mom & brother can relieve some stress and focus on mourning the loss of my father.
