Family Support for the Moultons

On 8/29/22, our world was turned upside down. Our Nick suffered a grand mal seizure. What followed quickly turned into a nightmare for all those who know and love him dearly. They found that Nick has a brain tumor. After weeks of waiting, MRIs and cat scans, Nick had to undergo a craniotomy at Mass General. His amazing surgeon removed a portion of the tumor, but he could not get it all. Preliminary pathology results show that the tumor is cancerous. Nick is now preparing to undergo lengthy radiation treatments and chemotherapy.

From day one, Nick has not made one complaint. He has done nothing but remain positive, often offering pep talks to his family. He tells us daily not to worry about him and not to be upset. He says, "I'm taking one for our team. I'm glad it's me and not any one of you." To say he is amazing is a complete understatement.

We have made five trips to Boston thus far with many, many more to come. A 6 week stay is coming up. Gas, food, hotels, and trying to maintain his three young children, his wife, and his home will quickly become difficult. Kaley is currently on a 12 week unpaid leave to be by his side. Nick and Kaley would never ask anyone for a penny. They would be the first to help others in their time of need. Many of you have already asked how you can be of help. They appreciate everyone reaching out more than you know, but as you can imagine, it has been overwhelming for Nick to keep up with all the messages. His doctors recommend he shouldn't be on his phone/looking at screens very much at this time. So we are reaching out to our very loving community right now. If you can help in any way, we would be so very appreciative. The last few weeks have been tough, but Nick is tougher. He knows God is by his side.
