Family Tragedy Caused By Fire

Tragedy strikes a Romanian family from Urseni, near Timisoara, Romania. On the night of August 31st, 2018 the family of my dear friend Ella Varlan suffered a terrible tragedy. In one night, due to a housefire caused by an electrical malfunction, which triggered a gas explosion, two family homes were completely destroyed. Ella's 67 years old father was killed in the fire, while trying to escape. Attached to his home, which was completely burned to the ground, was the home of Ella's brother, Vasile Varlan. Luckily, her brother, his wife and their two daughters were away visiting relatives on the other side of the country, or this tragedy could have been much worse... The young Varlan family has lost all their belongings and have no home to return to... Vasile has to burry his father and find a place to live in while trying to pick up the pieces of his life. Words cannot describe the desperation that these good, God-fearing people have to go through. Larisa, their youngest daughter is barely 6 months old, and their oldest is supposed to start grade 8 in a few days. The family had just relocated last year back to Romania, after working in Spain for 18 years. Everthing they ever had, saved through years of hardship,  was put in their small home, which they built adjacent to the father's house. With both homes destroyed, and their father dead, the family is in dire financial need. This tragedy happened in rural Romania, where there is no such thing as life or home insurance. The family is left with nothing and cannot receive any assitance - as the authorities offer none. There is no shelter, or any social services available in the village of Urseni.  As Ella is one of my most dear friends, I appeal to anyone who can help out this family in need. The family requires not only immediate funds to cover funeral costs, but also need a place to stay, clothes, school supplies and all home items. In order to  attempt to rebuild their home, the Varlan family needs all the help they can get.  I belive with all my heart that out Good Lord has saved the rest of the family from sharing the fate of their beloved father and grandfather. Let's all come together and help this family through this incredible tragedy.
