Family Tragedy Leaves Behind Daughter (15YO)

 We need your help; our family has experienced a tragedy that has left a 15 year old daughter without her parents.  Both her mother (Terri) and father (Jerry)  died within 8 hours of each other, leaving her devastated.  This is not the first loss that She had experienced in her young life.  Just 9 years ago, she was fostered and further adopted by Terri and Jerry Manning, a wonderful, loving couple, because Terri and Jerry didn't just give Her a place to live, they opened their hearts to her and made sure that she knew that she was loved.  They wanted to give her the stability she needed to thrive. Now, once again she finds herself facing the pain of loss of not just one parent but both.

This tragedy has left the family with having to figure out how to pay for 2 funeral expenses estimated cost ($15,000 to $20,000), Also must cover the cost of a guardianship process.  Because she was adopted and is not old enough to be on her own, she must have a legal guardian.  Family members  form the adopted parents are going to continue to give her the loving home health she deserves. Estimated cost  ($7,000 – $10,000).  In addition to these immediate needs, we are also seeking funds to help provide for her long term care such as counseling, health care, clothing, food, school supplies, etc for the next 5 years.  Estimated cost ($15,000 to $20,000). 

 Finally, we would like to help provide her with enough funds to pay for 2 years of community college so that she can get a good start on the next chapter of her young life. Estimated cost  ($18,000 – $25,000). The current financial situation doesn’t allow them to absorb the day to day costs or the funeral expenses.  In addition, the guardianship process requires the assistance of a lawyer and they don’t have the means to cover these expenses.  All proceeds from this Go Fund Me will be used only for the direct benefit of the 15 year old daughter.
