Family, including 11 children, escape burning Oak Park home
My name is Dulce, I am from Oak Park, San Diego and my family and I are in need of your help. On August 24th at 4:00am, my family was woken up with terror. I woke up with flames already on the ceiling and on top of one of the kids who happened to be alseep right below the fire. Luckily no one was injured from the fire but all of their belongings were ruined or burned. Three families were living in the same house, 12 kids and 6 adults including 3 adopted kids are all in need of your help. The only items that they have are the little clothes that they had while they were asleep or clothes that have already been donated by the Red Cross.
What we are mostly concerned about are the kids. All of the kids school supplies were unfortunatley burned within the fire and school starts on Monday, August 28th. They are in need of clothes, shoes, undergarments and school supplies. After the children are secured with the items stated above, what ever is left over if any will be used to buy mattresses, bed frames so we at least have beds to sleep on, and basic clothing for us the adults.
Thank you for any help towards my family. It is greatly apprecaited.
I, Dulce, will be the one collecting the funds and I am the one handling this account (my family is one of the three).
Thank you for those who have already donated and who continue to share the link. Our family is truly grateful and blessed of all the support! For those who wish to contact one of the family members please contact Daniela Garcia at [phone redacted] or Dulce Garcia at [phone redacted]. Those 2 are the ONLY verified numbers that the family are using. Thank you.
