Hi!

For those who were introduced to me from someone I know or if you stumbled across this record funding campaign, my name is April Cushman :)

I am a mom, wife, full time songwriter and artist and I live in the good ole North East Granite State (that’s New Hampshire, for anyone who isn’t familiar).

Being a full time musician and songwriter is definitely one of the coolest jobs I’ve ever had. However, it comes with many expenses that are necessary for career growth that 99% of us can’t actually afford. Between expenses to get to shows, the lack of money we make on music releases (streaming services take the axe to our careers lol) and many other things, it seems nearly impossible to get high quality, radio ready songs that catch the ears and hearts of labels, publishing & management companies and tours to be pitched for as support.

SO many of my fans, friends and family members constantly ask me, “How can we support you as an independent artist to help your career grown and how can WE help get you noticed!?” and “When is Album #2 coming?”

I have many songs that I’ve written with some pretty incredible people in the industry, including some who have multiple #’s, Grammy wins, CMA nominations and more under their belts. These songs are easily some of the best I’ve ever written, and they’re collecting dust.

The love and support I’ve experienced over the last couple of years since my first album came out has been non stop growing and an absolute force to be reckoned with.
