Fano & Christine Sulunga (Lahaina Fire relief)

Aloha ,

We are making this campaign in honor of our family which has been directly impacted by the Lahaina fire. We know asking for help isn't an easy task but sometimes a necessary one.

On the day of Tuesday, August 8th, our entire hometown went up in fire. Amongst the chaos , our ohana has lost its home. A home they worked so hard to acquire, without help from anyone they were so proud to have done so on their own. At about 3pm the fire that start in lahaina quickly started to move down our main suburan neighborhood area. Unfortunatley our ohanas home was very close to that area. In moments the house was up in flames , only able to pack a bag with important documents they had nothing else with them. After hours of not hearing from them we finally found out they were safe but everything was lost in the fire.

If you know christine & fano you know they are the most loving and giving folks around. They love purely and fiercely on all the family and friends they have. Countless times over & over they have given to others and never expected anything in return. They both work so hard to be independent and not rely on others but only give to those they love. Fano has the biggest heart when he considers you family , he will go out and fish/hunt for 1st birthdays/grad parties/celebrations of life and anything else you can think of just to show love for his ohana. He will always lend a helping hand even when he has to go with out. Never once has he ever complained about helping or being there to hold space. Christine is the best sister/auntie anyone could have , always showing up for her sibling and the babies of the family. She has given so selflessly over the years with the joy of others pushing her through. Christine and Fano have both suffered great losses this year losing their fathers. They continue to push through, i know they will push through this tragedy as well but it will take time to heal these scars. We want to ease the burden on them and provide any financial support we can to get them back on their feet.
