Fans for Elementary School Davao Philippines

My wife and I hope you will join us on this journey to help provide fans for the Carmen Central Elementary School in Carman, Davao del Norte, Philippines.

We have a 7-year-old nephew enrolled in the 2nd grade at Carmen Central Elementary.

The school recently reopened after being closed for in person learning for two years during the worldwide pandemic.

The school added more classrooms in preparation for once again accepting students. These classrooms have no air conditioning, just as most places in the Philippines do not.

Some of the existing classrooms have wall-mounted or floor-standing fans to help cool the children and teachers during the hot and humid days. However, the new classrooms do not have any type of air circulation.

We want to provide two fans per classroom, and we would like you to help us achieve this goal.

There are currently 40 rooms without fans and we wish to have two per room (80) fans. We have priced these floor stand fans from a local vendor and they cost on average 1800PHP that is about $38.00 per fan. We will also need pay for delivery to the school.

We would appreciate it if you can help us provide fans for these school children. We will make arrangements for the purchase and delivery, and you will make a big difference in a child's learning environment. If you cannot donate right now, that's understandable.
