Helping Nick get back on stage

Hi…I’m Toni…. This page is to help support an incredibly sweet, down to earth musician and friend.

As most of you know, an important part of Pop Evil has been missing from the stage lately. Nick has been home recovering from a pretty brutal injury he sustained after their kick-off show in Grand Rapids. Shortly after they wrapped, a freak accident resulted in not only a broken leg, but a severely dislocated and fractured ankle. If you get easily queasy, DO NOT scroll to the pictures! The hope was that after 6 weeks of recovery, Nick could rejoin the tour and do what he loves to do best. But once the surgeon got in there and saw the true extent of the damage, that recovery timeline will be pushed out a bit more including physical therapy. After a tough 2 years (thanks, COVID), Nick was amped to get back on the road to you all. But as the saying goes, the show must go on and we’re thankful that Chris could step in on such short notice. I know Nick is devastated to be missing this and can’t WAIT to get back out there.

When he’s not with the band, Nick’s holding it down with a side job. Unfortunately, that means he also can’t do that while recovering either. And as a gig worker, Nick doesn’t have medical insurance. After suffering such a severe injury, we all know the bills headed his way will be substantial. Not only the medical bills, but his day-to-day expenses, too.
