Support Fantahun’s families

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the sudden loss of Fantahun Kassahun. He was taken by an unexpected car accident on December 9, 2023. He was working an Uber at that time to support his family financially but, unfortunately, did not make it.

Fantahun has two young children, Kidus Fantahun (5) and Liya Fantahun (7) and his wife, Atkilt who’s a 7 MONTH PREGNANT.

Fantahun was a kind, generous, social and creative soul. He took great joy in raising his family with Atkilt, and was beloved by his colleagues and co-workers. Family was deeply important to Fantahun and right now, his family is hurting. Nothing could have prepared them for such a devastating loss.

This GoFundMe is to help the Fantahun’s family cover funerary expenses as well as any support they may need in the coming months. This is an absolute tragedy, compounded by the holiday season.

I am wehib Asfaw who’s a close friend of Fantahun Kassahun and his family and I am organizing this GoFundMe on their behalf and with their blessing, to help ease the burden so they can focus on healing and mourning.

All of the funds go directly to Atkilt Legesse. I will post updates here as I receive them from Atkilt.
