Farah & The Five

We are urgently seeking to raise financial support for Farah and her five children. Farah and her family moved here from Jordan six years ago and she has spent several years trying to become a Christian. After suffering severe physical and emotional abuse from her Muslim husband and relatives, she has turned to faith in Jesus. Farah has been in contact with several organizations trying to get help with a divorce, immigration, and food. She has been granted a protective order by the courts from her husband, however because of this he is no longer contributing to any of the family's needs. He has stopped paying the rent, the car, and anything for the children. She works as a paraprofessional for Mesquite ISD but does not make enough to support the family, even working a second job over the summer. We are raising money to pay her rent and living expenses for six months until she can get on her feet. Her kids are ages 6, 8, 11, 14, and 15.
