Farah's Broadway Dance Pro Semester Program

Hello! My name is Farah Delgado, I am so excited to share with you all that I have been accepted into Broadway Dance Center's Professional Semester Program. This program was designed to give dancers the skills and connections necessary to establish individuals as working dancers. Within this program, I will have the opportunity to attend industry seminars, participate in networking opportunities, attend private curated classes in a variety of genres, mock auditions that provide real-world experience, and perform in a final industry showcase.

Dance has been a transformative force in my life, igniting a passion that has shaped my identity and influenced my journey in profound ways. From the moment I took my first dance class at three years old, I felt an indescribable connection to the art form. Through dance, I discovered a means of expressing my emotions, thoughts, and innermost feelings without uttering a word.

As my skills grew, so did my self-confidence and sense of discipline. Dance taught me perseverance in the face of challenges, pushing me to practice relentlessly to master intricate movements and techniques. Moreover, the camaraderie among fellow dancers nurtured a sense of belonging, forming lasting friendships and bonds that felt like a second family.

Beyond the studio, dance spilled into other aspects of my life, promoting a healthier lifestyle and enhancing my overall well-being. It became a coping mechanism during tough times, offering solace and an escape from the pressures of daily life. Through performances, I found joy in captivating audiences and evoking emotions in others through my art.

With all this being said, to further pursue this dream of mine, I created this GoFundMe in hopes that it can help with the cost of my tuition for this life-changing program, travel expenses, room & board, and daily essentials.
