My friend, Farai Chiona, tragically died in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on October 3rd, 2020, He was just 31 years old. We did not find out about it until three weeks later.
Farai came to the U.S. for college and the American dream. He was a dreamer - his dream was to graduate from college, become a writer, and take care of his mom, dad, brothers, and sisters in Zimbabwe, Africa. Farai funny personality, and smile, lite up every room he enter. He was an ambitious young man with the desire to achieve the American dream. No mother should have to bury her child, it is a devasting tragedy and unfortunate Farai's life was cut short.
Farai family is in Zimbabwe and he has no other relatives to help. Please consider helping, the goal is to raise enough money to send Farai body back to Zimbabwe so his family can see him one last time before he is lay to rest. Thank you.
