Help the Costanzo Family Recover After Eaton Fire

My name is Julie Daniels. I am starting a GoFundMe campaign for my colleague Anthony Costanzo and his family — all dear members of my community.

The Costanzo family of four have lost their beloved Altadena home in the devastating Eaton Canyon Fire. The Jane’s Cottage stood strong from 1926-2025, nearly 100 years of history until the Eaton fire engulfed it on January 8th. Most of their precious belongings and 27 years of personal memories vanished overnight.

All investments in their home went up in flames in less than one hour. They were able to save their beloved dog, Buddy. However, their outdoor cat, PT, has not been seen since the fire. Only important documents, clothes to last a couple days, a suitcase of photo albums, and a couple family heirlooms were all that were able to be saved while evacuating.

There are no words to describe how an entire neighborhood disappears overnight. As of right now, the family hasn't been able to return to see the remains of their house except through photo. They are grieving the loss of their beloved home along with their beautiful town of Altadena.
