Farewell to DJ Father Chris, a Loving Dad
Donation protected
I’m sad to say my Brooklyn, NY native father, Christopher James Robinson, a.k.a. Father Chris, the music deep house legend DJ, has passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024. He was known for his sense of humor and his love of sports. He loved me and Janiyah; he is our Gemini twin. He was always the life of the party and a mainstream celebrity bodyguard and club bouncer. His love for music never stopped, and he continued his live stream social media presence on Facebook every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday with deep house tribal music. He reached 20,000 fans nationwide and internationally in Italy. I was so proud of him and helped his online presence in 2020.
My father was diagnosed with diabetes, which slowed down his career, but it never stopped him from continuing his love of music on social media and promoting. I wouldn’t be the person I am today with my career if it wasn’t for my dad teaching me how to DJ and being in the entertainment industry. He was so proud of my daughter Janiyah, his first and only grandchild, as she became a dancer and he promoted her.
I saw my father last month, right before he passed, and had a heart-to-heart with my daughter and me as we are his Gemini twins, two days apart from each other. He shared life lessons and preached as he rode his scooter to the store, “WE ALL WE GOT!” My dad was a caring, straight-to-the-point man who wanted to help anyone!
During these holidays and trying times, as my daughter and I are in Atlanta, GA, and need to get to NY, we need assistance with his send-off arrangements and affairs. Please donate as assistance is needed with my father’s affairs and expenses to give him a proper send-off. Any amount, great or small, would be appreciated. Thank you for all the condolences and prayers.
Till we meet again! Love you, Daddy!
