Farewell to Margaret Wilkerson
Donation protected
Additional Note: We are overwhelmed already with the generosity displayed. Please note that even if we exceed the "goal" (which is just an arbitrary number) every dollar collected will be used toward the gift. So please continue to contribute in any amount that is meaningful to you. Margaret will receive the full benefit. It is a testament to the contribution she has made to each one of us.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Since Margaret became the Coordinator of Education Volunteers at the High Museum in 2013, she has left an indelible mark on all of us who have had the pleasure of working with her. Margaret’s passion for working with the docents, sharing her knowledge of art and becoming our leader and friend has created a docent program that makes it a pleasure to be a part of this amazing group of volunteers.
As we say farewell to Margaret and wish her success in her new role as Professor of Art History at SCAD, we want to take this opportunity to show our appreciation and gratitude for her time with us. The DVE Executive Board wanted to create a way that we can show our adoration as a group. We will be presenting Margaret with a meaningful gift and flowers at the final trainings which is this upcoming Monday & Tuesday. This means we must be efficient in our efforts. We have created this page for those who would like to make a contribution to the gift. We will pool our funds to present Margaret with something really beautiful. If you are so inclined, please contribute at whatever level is meaningful to you.
If would like to participate in this fundraiser, we ask that you complete your contributions by midnight, Friday, May 17th so that we can procure the gift over the weekend for the presentations on Monday & Tuesday. (We will make the presentation at both trainings.)
Thank you,
Your Docent Volunteer Educator Executive Board
